Meeting Schedule
Meetings of the Parish Council are open to the public and press
Ordinary Meetings are held in the main hall of the Village Institute, 24 High Street, every second Monday of the month from 19:30 to about 21:30.
Extraordinary Meetings are advertised as and when they occur, and times may differ.
The Parish Council Annual General Meeting (when the Parish Council present the Council's annual report and the chairman is elected), and the Longstanton Annual Parish Meeting (when County and District councillors, parochial charities and village organisations present their annual reports), are in April/May.
Elections are held every 4 years. The next Parish Council's elections are in the Spring of 2012.

Ordinary Meetings:
At the opening of the meeting, the public and press are invited to put questions to the Parish Council Chairman relating to items on the published agenda for the meeting only.
Questions are not taken during or at the end of the meeting.
The Council adopted minutes of a previous meeting and the forthcoming.

Bringing local issues to the attention of the Parish Council:

The Parish Council encourage community's partnership in promoting improvements to services and facilities for the benefit of all. Please note that the Parish Council will respond to communications addressed to the parish Clerk or Chairman but that forwarded copies of correspondence addressed only to other local authorities may only be noted.
Residents may leave communications for the Parish Council in the Council post box placed in the Village Post Office and Stores, 10 High Street, or use this site e-mail link 'Contact the Council', selecting 'Parish Clerk' from the drop box.
