The Pavilion - SPORTS & SOCIAL CENTRE

Longstanton Parish Council is looking to appoint a Managing Couple or a Manager/Manageress to take on the day to day management of a Sports and Social Centre in an expanding village with planned expansion of its sporting and social facilities. 

It is essential that candidates have experience in running a Sports and Social Centre or equivalent, maintaining budgetary control, appointing and managing staff, stock control.

The candidate(s) will be required to work flexible, unsociable hours, have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence, and have excellent time management, planning and organisation skills.

The candidates will be responsible for ensuring that the Centre is operated as an efficient and prosperous enterprise. This will involve organising and promoting new sports, leisure and social events, liaison with the existing Sports Clubs, developing the potential of the Pavilion and its facilities.
